Love the pictures and simple, nutritious recipes in this book. Really interesting recipes and inspiration for eating smoothie bowls regularly! I was SO late to the smoothie bowl party, I couldn't really wrap my mind around the benefits of the bowl over the shaker cup or big bowl wine glass or Mason jar... but then I read this book. Duh, of course... a smoothie bowl is a more nutrient dense (think what the author calls "a bowl full of vitamins") and a heavier meal than a regular smoothie. You can make a thicker #greensmoothie in a bowl recipe PLUS you also have a lot more surface area (than a cup or such) to cover with goodies like shredded, dried fruits, or nuts and seeds, bee pollen, super foods, or the like. I sprinkle cinnamon and/or cacao nibs, and sometimes put sliced figs, or fresh mint, and other stuff, on top of my smoothie bowls. I notice that I LOVE the taste of cinnamon and cacao nibs (like the smoothie bowl pictured that I ate this week which has cinnamon, raw pumpkin seeds, and cacao nibs... so YUM), I use Korintje cinnamon (though I've heard that Ceylon is better). Recipes in this book that I'm going to try first are the almond chia bowl, the high protein green smoothie bowl, and probably the sprouted buckwheat bowl (I'll eventually prolly try them all). Going to keep this book in my Kindle phone app so I can open it to ingredient shop at the health food store! Happy smoothie making~*

Really delicious looking recipes in this book. I've never heard about the smoothie bowl concept til now but these look fabulous. I will really enjoy trying out the different types of smoothie breakfast. I love the use of different tastes and textures in the recipes, Highly recommended for those who love delicious and healthy meals!!
